Today I'm reviewing Emmy Levels Up by Helen Harvey. This is an amazing book that covers bullying and finding who you really are.
Emmy, the main character has just released a super popular video of her defeating the Mulch Queen in her favourite game: Illusory Isles. Emmy now knows how to defeat the Mulch Queen but she doesn't know how to defeat Vanessa, the new girl at school. Maybe she and Vanessa got off on the wrong foot but Vanessa has been bullying Emmy for a while now. Should Emmy continue to go solo? Or should she find some friends she can trust to help her out?
This is such a good book! It puts video games into real life situations. I love how it's taught me how to deal with bullying. I would definitely recommend it to you. Go read it!!!
